Volleyball Recap: Wheaton Academy Takes a Loss

Wheaton Academy lost against Timothy Christian on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

Timothy Christian can attribute much of their success to Kate Vogelzang, who had ten digs and two assists. That's the most assists Vogelzang has posted over her last four matches.

Wheaton Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season. As for Timothy Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

Wheaton Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Aurora Christian at 12:30 p.m. As for Timothy Christian, they will take on Chicago Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
