Recap: Linton-Stockton Miners vs. North Decatur Chargers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Linton-Stockton Miners walked away with it. They came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 37-30 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for Linton-Stockton as they're now sitting on seven straight.
North Decatur's loss came despite strong showings from Ella Kunz and Madi Allen. Kunz scored seven points along with nine rebounds, while Allen scored 12 points.
Linton-Stockton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for North Decatur, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.
Linton-Stockton is on the road again on Saturday and plays Brownstown Central at 10:00 a.m. on February 17th. Brownstown Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 287 points over their last five matchups. North Decatur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
