Baseball Recap: Skyridge Takes a Loss

Skyridge and Bingham squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Skyridge had to settle for second. They fell 9-4 to the Miners. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 6, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Miles Robinson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Skyridge: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 8-9 otherwise.

Skyridge's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Bingham, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-10.

While Skyridge had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
