Basketball Recap: Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS Comes Up Short

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS lost against West Fork back in December of 2014 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS took a 61-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Fork Warhawks.

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for West Fork, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 78-47 win against Pocahontas on the 14th. As for West Fork, they will welcome Dike-New Hartford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
