It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Church Point ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers, sneaking past 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on three straight.

Luke Baudoin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Church Point will square off against Acadiana at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Charles College Prep, they will welcome Hamilton Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
