Baseball Recap: Central Private Comes Up Short

Central Private was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Covington Lions, falling 11-5. The Redhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

Central Private's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Covington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.

Central Private wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-6 win against St. Michael on the 27th. As for Covington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-2 defeat against Hammond on the 28th.
