After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Augustine, McDonogh 35 was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 41-6 win over the Booker T. Washington Lions. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Roneagles considering their six-point performance the game before.

McDonogh 35 pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.4 points over those games. As for Booker T. Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDonogh 35 will head out to challenge Edna Karr at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will venture away from home to take on Covington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
