Soccer Game Preview: Morristown-Hamblen West vs. Morristown-Hamblen East

For the first time this season, Morristown-Hamblen West will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Morristown-Hamblen West didn't have quite enough to beat Elizabethton and fell 3-2. Morristown-Hamblen West have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Morristown-Hamblen East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Dobyns-Bennett. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Morristown-Hamblen East couldn't quite close it out.

Morristown-Hamblen West's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
