Basketball Recap: Mt. Hermon Comes Up Short

Mt. Hermon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 65-54 to the Holden Rockets. The Yellowjackets lost against the Rockets in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-24 score last time.

Mt. Hermon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Holden, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Hermon will square off against Christ Episcopal School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Holden, they will head out to face off against Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
