Volleyball Recap: Covington Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Covington's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Miami Valley Rams.

Dakohta Kenworthy paced Covington's offense, picking up eight kills. Kenworthy got some help from Addison Ventura and her 11 assists. Nell Rogers controlled things from the service line, finishing with 14 aces.

Covington is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Miami Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Covington and Mississinawa Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Miami Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
