Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Indians vs. Beacon Bulldogs

The Liberty Indians will face off against the Beacon Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Liberty took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past Monticello with a 36-30 victory.

Meanwhile, Beacon had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They walked away with a 51-39 win over the Dukes.

Beacon pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
