Basketball Game Preview: Pahranagat Valley Panthers vs. Lincoln County Lynx

Pahranagat Valley and Lincoln County are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Pahranagat Valley Panthers will take on the Lincoln County Lynx at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pahranagat Valley will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, everything went Pahranagat Valley's way against Beaver Dam as Pahranagat Valley made off with a 60-37 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Lincoln County's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 73-55 bruising from Needles. The Lynx were down 62-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Pahranagat Valley will need focus on slowing down Joey Padderatz, one of several Lincoln County players who made an impact when they last played. He posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalen Bart, who put up seven points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

Pahranagat Valley is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.9 points per game. As for Lincoln County, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.

Pahranagat Valley might still be hurting after the 60-38 defeat they got from Lincoln County in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Pahranagat Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
