Basketball Recap: The Pilgrim Academy Drops Season-High Score on United Christian Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Pilgrim Academy). They came out on top against United Christian Academy by a score of 32-19 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Pioneers: when they faced off against United Christian Academy back in December of 2024, they had to take a 26-20 defeat.

The Pilgrim Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Brittin out in front who went 6 for 11 on her way to 14 points. Moriah Parmer was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

The Pilgrim Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive matches dating back to last season.
