Softball Recap: Prescott Comes Up Short

Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hope Bobcats. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 15, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Prescott's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hope, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prescott will square off against Arkadelphia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hope, they will venture away from home to square off against Arkansas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Arkansas has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
