Basketball Recap: Henning Takes a Loss

Henning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 63-47 fall against the Bertha-Hewitt Bears. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Bears are ranked 153rd).

Henning's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Bertha-Hewitt, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Henning has already played their next match (against Pillager), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bertha-Hewitt will challenge Menahga at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Menahga will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Bertha-Hewitt surely won't give up without a fight.
