Cedar Grove's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Riverdale Raiders with a 10-6 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Saints as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Riverdale's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Malachai Davis, who rushed for 141 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and Trent Gurley, who threw for 144 yards and one touchdown.

Cedar Grove's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-5. As for Riverdale, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
