Softball Preview: Mountain Ridge Sentinels vs. Bingham Miners

Mountain Ridge is 0-8 against Bingham since May of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Sentinels will square off against the Miners at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Wednesday, Mountain Ridge got the win against Layton by a conclusive 15-5.

Red Brooks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Brooks was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
