Baseball Game Preview: Capuchino Mustangs vs. Hillsdale Fighting Knights

For the second straight game, Capuchino will face off against Hillsdale. The Mustangs will welcome the Fighting Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Capuchino is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Capuchino nor Hillsdale made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Mustangs were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Fighting Knights. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Declan Mendel tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over 6.2 innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
