Volleyball Recap: Highland Park Scots vs. Topeka Trojans
Highland Park lost against Topeka back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Highland Park Scots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Topeka Trojans.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21.
Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Topeka, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.
Highland Park will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Atchison at 7:00 p.m. on October 15th. As for Topeka, they will challenge Manhattan at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Manhattan is coming into the game with four straight wins on the road, so Topeka will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
