Bishop Kelley extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 11-2. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Carl Albert Titans 4-2. For the Comets, this counts as revenge for the 7-1 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Mack Conroy tossed a big game, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Bishop Kelley's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Joe Mckean, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Carl Albert fell to 6-1. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

On Carl Albert's side, they got a good showing from Jaxon Richey, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Richey hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2025.

At the plate, Boston Holland made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Looking ahead, Bishop Kelley will host Westmoore at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Carl Albert, they will challenge McAlester at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
