Desert Hills won the last time they faced Cedar Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Desert Hills Thunder managed a 51-46 victory over the Cedar Valley Aviators. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunder.

Desert Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chaz Holbrook led the charge by going 5 of 11 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Chase, who posted 11 points.

Cedar Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ryan Haslam, who put up 13 points and three steals. Owen Bawden was another key player, putting up nine points and eight rebounds.

Desert Hills now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Cedar Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Desert Hills will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Cedar at 7:00 p.m. Desert Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52 points per game this season. As for Cedar Valley, they will host Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westlake will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Cedar Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
