Basketball Recap: Midwest Falls Short of HEM in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Midwest can now relate to. They fell just short of the HEM Miners by a score of 59-56 on Friday. The Oilers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Miners earlier this season, when they won 68-65.

This is the second loss in a row for Midwest and nudges their season record down to 11-7. As for HEM, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

As of now, neither Midwest nor HEM have any future games scheduled.
