Basketball Recap: Abbeville Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After Six Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Edgewood Academy last Monday, Abbeville Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Generals came up short against the Ezekiel Academy Knights on Thursday, falling 48-23. The game marked the Generals' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Leading Ezekiel Academy to victory were Gianna Johnson and Addi Newell. Johnson shot 45% from the field on her way to 12 points and six boards, while Newell posted eight points and five steals. Newell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Hadley Sirmon, who scored four points and nine rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Abbeville Christian Academy fell to 5-1. As for Ezekiel Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
