Baseball Game Preview: Prescott Badgers vs. Greenway Demons

The Prescott Badgers are taking a road trip to face off against the Greenway Demons at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Prescott has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Prescott's tournament run continued when they took on Williams Field on Saturday. Prescott came up short against Williams Field, falling 12-6.

Ivan Schuster was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two runs. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Nick Martin was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Greenway fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Deer Valley on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 5-2 to the Skyhawks.

Trevor Myer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Prescott's record now sits at 1-3. As for Greenway, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.
