Softball Recap: Southside Seahawks vs. East Carteret Mariners
Southside dropped their record down to 9-10-1 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They lost 19-0 to the East Carteret Mariners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mariners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Tuesday.

Southside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily McLean, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. McLean is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
