The third road contest was the charm for Highlands Ranch, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Valley Christian Trojans on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Noah Mortenson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Mortenson was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
