Softball Recap: Idaho Falls Comes Up Short

Idaho Falls lost against Skyline back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers took a 14-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Olivia Cordon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Shea Salem, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Idaho Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Skyline, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

While Idaho Falls had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
