Baseball Recap: DasCHE Takes a Loss

DasCHE was the 12-0 winner over Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

Cameron Melerine was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

DasCHE dropped their record down to 11-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization, they moved to 8-11 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DasCHE will face off against Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
