Caldwell Academy entered their tilt with High Point Christian Academy on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Cougars 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Caldwell Academy never let High Point Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-22.

Anna Lapeirre paced Caldwell Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Lapeirre got some help from Lilli Telleysh and her 12 assists. Kate Belanger controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Caldwell Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for High Point Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caldwell Academy will host Winston Salem Christian at 5:30 p.m. on September 4. As for High Point Christian Academy, they will square off against Greensboro Day School at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
