Soccer Recap: Murphy Comes Up Short

Murphy was the 4-0 winner over Highlands when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Highlanders on Monday, falling 3-0. Murphy have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Murphy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Highlands, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Coming up, Murphy will venture away from home to take on Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Highlands, they will welcome Blue Ridge Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Highlands are facing Blue Ridge Early College at the right time seeing as Blue Ridge Early College are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
