Softball Recap: Lutheran West Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Lutheran West finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They lost 27-0 to the Wickliffe Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

Lutheran West's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. Wickliffe has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran West will face off against Oberlin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wickliffe, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Mayfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
