On Friday, the McBain Ramblers were fully in charge, breezing past the Oscoda Owls 54-23. The Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

McBain is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points over those games. Oscoda's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-2.

McBain and Oscoda should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. McBain (ranked 84th) will meet Houghton Lake (ranked 474th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Oscoda will take on Hillman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 278 places (130 vs. 408).
