Soccer Recap: Mountain Crest Comes Up Short

Mountain Crest had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Hillcrest Huskies by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Mountain Crest has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Juan Diego Catholic on the 7th. As for Hillcrest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Spanish Fork on the 7th.
