Softball Recap: Concordia Lutheran Crusaders vs. The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors
On Thursday, the Concordia Lutheran Crusaders came up short against The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors and fell 7-3. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Faith Keiper put in work no matter where she played. She tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Keiper was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
Keiper wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Camryn Poche, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Concordia Lutheran now has a losing record of 1-2. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
While Concordia Lutheran had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
