Soccer Game Preview: Foothills Christian vs. San Diego Jewish Academy

The Foothills Christian Knights will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the San Diego Jewish Academy Lions at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Foothills Christian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Foothills Christian came up short against Francis Parker and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, San Diego Jewish Academy was forced to settle for a draw. They and Santa Fe Christian finished up their match with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Foothills Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-2. With that draw, San Diego Jewish Academy's record moves to 3-2-1.

Foothills Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against San Diego Jewish Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foothills Christian since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
