Basketball Recap: Center Line Beats Eastpointe for Their Sixth Straight Win

Center Line extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from TE'REZ HOLMES. The Center Line Panthers took down the Eastpointe Shamrocks 62-47 on Friday thanks in part to HOLMES, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten boards. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was KAMEREN HIGGINBOTHAM, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Center Line pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eastpointe, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center Line will challenge Mott at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Center Line is facing Mott at the right time seeing as Mott is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Eastpointe, they will take on Sterling Heights Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
