Recap: Central Blue Devils vs. East Orange Campus Jaguars

The Central Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 49-28 margin over East Orange Campus. The victory was just what Central needed coming off of a 79-42 defeat in their prior match.

Faith Fedd-Robinson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Central's points. Another player making a difference was Sage Reed, who scored 14 points along with seven assists.

Central pushed their record up to 6-5 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points per game. As for East Orange Campus, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.

Central will be playing at home against East Side at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Side will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Central is ranked 90th). As for East Orange Campus, they will head out on the road to face off against Montclair Kimberley Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
