Basketball Recap: Williamsburg Comes Up Short

Williamsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 95-18 loss at the hands of the Corbin Redhounds. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Redhounds are ranked 49th).

Williamsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Corbin, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamsburg won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Whitley County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Corbin, they will face off against Madison Southern at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
