Second Baptist came tearing into Monday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bay Area Christian Broncos a 1-0 shutout. The Eagles' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Amy Menendez, who's now up to nine this season.

Second Baptist pushed their record up to 19-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six games. As for Bay Area Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
