Patrick Henry is a perfect 4-0 against Hermitage since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Patrick Henry is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Mechanicsville on Friday. They lost 8-1 to the Mustangs. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Hermitage faced off against Deep Run on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-2.

Hermitage saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Wharton, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Wharton has brought in this season.

Patrick Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hermitage, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Patrick Henry took their victory against Hermitage in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-4 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
