Woburn Memorial extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Mateo Qirjazi. Everything went the Tanners' way against Wakefield Memorial on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win with plenty of help from Qirjazi, who had 35 assists. He has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more assists the last 14 times he's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Woburn Memorial was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Malden got the win against Medford on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Golden Tornados haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Malden's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Woburn Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
