Midway had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Hobbton Wildcats 35-0. The Raiders have beaten the Wildcats the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Midway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tanner Williams, who threw for 200 yards and one TD on only 16 passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Those 200 passing yards gave Williams a new career-high. 124 of Williams' passing yards were hauled in by Samuel Dudley, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Midway has already played their next contest, a 55-39 victory against Clinton on the 29th. As for Hobbton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-21 defeat against Triton on the 28th.
