Soccer Recap: Padua Academy Comes Up Short

Padua Academy fell victim to Providence Day and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Padua Academy has lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Padua Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Providence Day, they pushed their record up to 6-0-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Padua Academy will head out to challenge Catawba Ridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Providence Day, they will venture away from home to face off against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
