Volleyball Recap: Ambassador Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Ambassador Christian Academy lost against American Christian School back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Ambassador Christian Academy fell just short of American Christian School by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Ambassador Christian Academy sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 14-25, 25-13.

American Christian School found their leader in sophomore Alexandra Rim, who had seven aces and four digs. Rim is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last five games she's played. Layla Fernandez was another key player, getting three digs, two blocks, and two aces.

Ambassador Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for American Christian School, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Ambassador Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Christian School, they will face off against Whippany Park on Wednesday.
