            Softball Recap: Thompson Falls Blue Hawks vs. Huntley Project Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            Thompson Falls lost to Huntley Project  back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Blue Hawks walked away with  a   6-3  win over the Red Devils.
 Sarah Koskela spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in seven consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Thompson Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Olivia Fitchett, who  went 1-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another  was  Annalise Fairbank, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Thompson Falls has  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Huntley Project, they moved to 4-5 with that  defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 Looking ahead, Thompson Falls will challenge Conrad at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Blue Hawks will need to watch out since the Cowboys have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last four games. Huntley Project does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
