Volleyball Recap: Summit Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Summit extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Rayleen Togagae. The SkyHawks put the hurt on the Fontana Steelers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday with plenty of help from Togagae, who had 19 assists and eight digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Summit was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-14, 25-12.

Summit's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Fontana, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Summit is set to face off against their familiar foe Grand Terrace at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fontana will challenge rival Kaiser at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
