Irvington Preparatory Academy had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cortez Jenkins, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Jenkins is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Corbyn Eaton, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Irvington Preparatory Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Providence Cristo Rey only posted an OBP of .278.

Irvington Preparatory Academy pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
