Basketball Recap: Midland Takes a Loss

Midland suffered their biggest loss since January 7th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Fieldcrest Knights, falling 68-44. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Midland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Fieldcrest, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland will face off against Roanoke-Benson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fieldcrest, they will head out to square off against Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Fieldcrest's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
