Volleyball Recap: Paramount Has No Trouble Against Lynwood

Paramount's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lynwood Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

While Paramount might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lynwood scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 27-25.

Paramount has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Lynwood, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Paramount will square off against rival Firebaugh at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lynwood is set to take on their familiar foe Bellflower at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
