Softball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bethel Park on Monday, Trinity came back down to earth. The Hillers took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chartiers Valley Colts on Friday. The Hillers have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Trinity now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Chartiers Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Trinity will face off against Southmoreland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Scotties have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Chartiers Valley, they will head out to challenge South Fayette at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
